A 3rd grade student from Bentonville has been named the state finalist for her Google Doodle drawing.

The unidentified girl from Thomas Jefferson Elementary School will be presented an award from Google as the state finalist for her Google Doodle drawing, according to Mary Ley, Executive Director of Communications.

If she wins the national contest, she will be presented with a $30,000 college scholarship, and the school will get $50,000 to spend on technology, according to Ley.
