VIDEO: Fort Smith Fire Department Battles Car Fire

A car caught fire in Fort Smith on Friday (April 18), and authorities responded to extinguish the flames.

The car in the video above caught fire on Waldron Road in Fort Smith at approximately 2 p.m., according to 5NEWS viewer Lorri Armstrong, who recorded the clip.

A battalion chief with the Fort Smith Fire Department said a report hasn’t been filed yet, but there were no injuries.

    Great video Lorri! Thanks for posting so Ch 5 can report some Ft Smith news. Pretty sad that viewers have to supply our LOCAL TV station with LOCAL news. Let a cat get stuck in a tree in NWA and we have Breaking 5 News! Tornado sirens go off in Ft Smith and Ch 5 ignores it. BTW, what does that FS in FSM stand for?
