A Muldrow woman turned herself in on Saturday (April 19) to the Muldrow Police Department in connection with the death of a pedestrian.

Jan Gonzalez, 60, turned herself in after a warrant was issued for her arrest following the death of a pedestrian identified as Justin Clinton, 29, of Muldrow, according to Muldrow Police Chief George Lawson.

Gonzalez had a warrant issued for her arrest on suspicion of manslaughter after an incident on Sept. 29, 2013 where she allegedly hit and killed Clinton with her vehicle.

The warrant was issued after results from her blood test that night came back positive for two controlled substances, and so, she turned herself in around 4 p.m. on Saturday.

She was cited that evening for driving with a suspended license, but the warrant for her arrest wasn’t issued until the blood test results came back.
