Three people were hospitalized and one suffered life-threatening injuries in a two-motorcycle wreck Friday night in Fayetteville, according to local police.

Emergency crews responded at 7:20 p.m. to Huntsville Road and South Hunt Lane in reference to two motorcycles being involved in a crash. Two men and a woman were injured in the crash and transported to a local hospital. One of them suffered life-threatening injuries, police said.

Officers on-scene blocked off the road to traffic while investigating the wreck.

I’ve been riding decades. My motto is ‘ride like a chicken’. Be afraid, be very afraid. Yes it spoils some of the fun. But you develop a pattern of cautious riding, it becomes habit and I’m still alive to ride another day
I make most of my mistakes in the Spring. When you pulls those bikes out to start a new riding year remember you haven’t ridden in a while, and people haven’t seen bikes around in a a while. This year there are still tons of sand and gravel on the intersections from the brutal winter of ’14. Watch the ‘marbles’, watch the ‘cages’, don’t drink and drive. live to ride another day.

To Leten Uno: Very well said! And also remember folks… if you are carrying a passenger, when riding you not only have your life in your hand, BUT ALSO SOMEONE ELSE’S! Think Safe, Ride Safe, Be Safe and Enjoy!
