One person was hospitalized with a non-life-threatening injury in a stabbing on Sunday (April 27) in Springdale, police said. Three suspects have been detained.
Police responded to a 911 call at 3:44 p.m., indicating a fight was in progress involving multiple people at Emma Avenue and Bluestem Street, according to a news release from the Springdale Police Department.
The first officer at the scene was directed to 325 B. Bluestem St., where he encountered a 31-year-old man bleeding from an apparent stab wound in his back.
The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was taken by the Springdale Fire Department to Northwest Medical Center-Springdale, police said. The man was listed in stable condition.
The suspects were detained a short time after the incident, police said.
