Funeral arrangements have been set for the man who died in the Quapaw, Okla., tornado on Sunday (April 27).
The funeral services will be held on Friday (May 2) at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Simpson Funeral Home in Carl Junction, Missouri.
John L. Brown, 68, died from injuries sustained in the tornado.
At least six others were injured in the tornado, officials said.
The tornado hit at 5:36 p.m. and caused extensive damage to the northeast and central parts of town, including structural damage to a fire station, homes and local businesses, authorities said.
