The 15 people in Arkansas killed by tornadoes over the weekend were identified Monday, the same day Gov. Mike Beebe activated the state’s Emergency Response Fund.

After the tornadoes moved out of the area and left a path of damage, the governor issued an executive order pulling $50,000 from the state’s Emergency Response Fund to be used by the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management.

Beebe activated the fund after finding “that action is warranted to alleviate hardship and suffering” associated with Sunday’s storms and tornadoes.
