Brush Fire Threatens Structures In Benton County

The Rogers Fire Department responded to a brush fire that posed a threat to a house and storage shed near 4009 Old Wire Road on Monday (May 5), officials said.

No buildings were burned, officials said.

The Fire Department sent a medical crew, a brush truck and a fire engine to the site about 3:30 p.m., the dispatcher said.

The fire was extinguished about an hour later.

It was not immediately known Monday afternoon whether anyone was injured.
