Washington Elementary School in Fayetteville was evacuated Friday following a bomb threat at the school, said a spokesman for Fayetteville Public Schools.
The spokesman said a bomb threat was found on a boys’ bathroom wall. Officers searched the grounds and school but did not find anything suspicious. Children were then let back into their classrooms, said Alan Wilbourn, the school district spokesman.
Bomb-sniffing dogs assisted in the search, Wilbourn said.
