Jaguars Select Hogs’ Chris Smith In 5th Round

Chris Smith had to hear 158 names called over the past three days but the Arkansas defensive end finally heard his own at the NFL Draft.

Smith was taken with pick No. 159, the fifth round, by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The 6-foot-1, 266 pound end totaled 36 tackles for the Razorbacks in 2013 while recording 11.5 tackles for loss including 8.5 sacks.

Smith had 52 tackles as a junior in 2012 for Arkansas, with 13 coming for a loss and recorded 9.5 sacks.

Smith finished his career at Arkansas with 122 tackles, 30.5 tackles for loss and 21.5 sacks.
