Two Alabama bass fishermen have been accused of using previously caught fish in tournaments, according to a report from affiliate station WHNT.

The two men face a criminal charge of “tampering with [a] sport contest,” and an investigation is underway, WHNT reported.

Authorities arrested the two men after they conducted a sting operation at a dock where investigators had gotten a tip that the men had been holding bass in a pen and using those fish in a tournament, according to WHNT.
