The Arkansas Supreme Court has tossed out a judge’s ruling that struck down the state’s voter ID law, according to a report from affiliate station KTHV.
THV reported that the justices on Wednesday (May 14) struck a Pulaski County Judge’s decision that the law violated the Arkansas’ constitution.
Pulaski County Circuit Judge Tim Fox had struck down the law during a case that focused on how absentee ballots were handled by law, but the justices ordered a stay on his ruling while they considered an appeal.
