Fake Beard Bandit Strikes Springdale Business, Police Say
A suspect wearing a fake beard has robbed the Career Academy of Hair Design at 346 E. Robinson Ave. in Springdale, police say.
It is unknown at this time if this is the same fake beard bandit that robbed two businesses in Rogers.
The robbery took place Wednesday (May 14) at 6:02 p.m., according to police.
The caller reported that a male came in, demanded money and acted like he had a gun, police said.
The suspect was described as a white man, 6’1″-6’4″, 180 lbs, sandy brown hair and brown or hazel eyes.
He was wearing a fake beard, blue stocking cap, blue shirt and blue pants. The victim said they never actually saw a gun, but said the man gestured like he had one, according to police.
Police said the suspect should be treated as “armed and dangerous.”
