Mansfield Teen Arrested In School Bomb Threat Investigation

A teen from Mansfield has been arrested in the Mansfield School District bomb threat case that occurred on Monday (May 12), according to Mansfield Police Chief Boyd Farmer.

The student is 16 years old and faces a felony charge of communicating a false alarm, he said.

Farmer said he expects that he’ll serve some jail time, but that will be decided by a judge at a later date.

The teenager’s name has been withheld due to his age.
