Hundreds of veterans with “Run For The Wall” made a pit stop in the River Valley Sunday (May 18).

The motorcyclists stopped in Sallisaw then headed to Ozark, where they fueled up before heading to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Coal Hill Post for lunch.

The group of mostly veterans travels from Los Angeles, California to The Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Their 10 day journey will take them from across Arkansas on Sunday. Monday the group will move on through Tennessee.

Their goal is to recognize the sacrifices and contributions made by those who have served our nation and their families, according to their website.
