Walmart Announces New Express Store In Decatur

Walmart has announced new plans for a Walmart Express Store in Decatur, according to a news release Monday (May 19).

The store will be built at 154 E. Roller Ave., and will offer access to grocery products close to home, according to the release.

“We are excited to Welcome Walmart Express to Decatur,” said Mayor Charles Linam.

He continued, “Decatur is proud to be part of a growing Northwest Arkansas community, and we are pleased to have another business choose our community to call home.”

The 12,000-square-foot store will offer different products including, produce, a full grocery section, a bakery, a deli, a pharmacy and health and beauty supplies. It will also serve as a gas station, the release states.

“Decatur customers tell us they want convenience and we are bringing it to them,” Brian Hooper, Walmart Vice President for Real Estate said.

He continued, “The Decatur Walmart Express store will provide that quick and easy way to access fresh food and household essentials at our everyday low prices.”
