Arkansas Republicans Pick Tim Griffin For Lieutenant Governor

Rep. Tim Griffin, R-Ark, won the Republican nomination for Arkansas lieutenant governor on Tuesday (May 20), according to affiliate station KTHV.

Griffin defeated state representatives Debra Hobbs and Andy Mayberry in Tuesday’s election. Now, he’ll face Democrat John Burkhalter and Libertarian Christopher Olson in the November election.

    I’d like to think Mr. Griffin will be better than the pizza salesman/con-man/ethics violator we elected before, but I’m not getting my hopes up.

    Don’t get your hopes up Ted. Mr. Griffin is a protege of Karl Rove. Mr. Rove is Mr. Griffin’s benefactor. I think after George Bush’s tenure, we have seen enough of Karl Rove or anyone that has his same thought processes.
