People all over Arkansas are getting ready for Memorial Day weekend.
“By far one of our busiest weekend,” retailer Patrick Feight said.
Studies show prices at the grocery store are up which comes from an increase in production costs and wholesale prices. In March, retail food prices rose 0.04 percent.
"$35,000 worth of business," Feight said.
Many are fueling theirs cars and boats with gas. Studies also show 88 percent of travelers will travel by car. This is an increase from last year. Overall, experts say 36.1 million Americans will journey 50 miles or more from home.
