One person is behind bars and another is in the hospital after a stabbing Sunday night (May 25) in Bentonville, said Lt. Randy Wood of the Bentonville Police Department.
Nathan Stines, 22, is being held without bond at the Benton County Jail and faces a felony charge of first-degree battery, the lieutenant said.
The stabbing happened around 8:15 p.m. at 2319 S.W. 17th St, Wood said.
When authorities arrived at the site, they found the victim injured and then transported that person to a local hospital to be treated for injuries, Wood said.
A short time later, Bentonville police found Stines, 22, at an undisclosed location and arrested him in connection to the stabbing,Wood said.
Authorities said the stabbing was still being investigated Monday (May 26).
