Authorities in Crawford County have arrested three suspects after a high-speed chase that, at times, got up to 100 miles-per-hour, but one suspect is still on the loose.

Several different law enforcement agencies in the River Valley are searching for one remaining suspect involved in a high-speed chase that spanned three counties Wednesday night (May 28), according to Crawford County Sheriff Ron Brown.

The stolen flatbed truck used in the chase was found abandoned in south Logan County Thursday morning. Logan County authorities are currently processing it for evidence.

Investigators said it all started after four white men were involved in a tractor theft that occurred most of the day Wednesday in the Dyer and Mulberry Bottoms, according to Brown.

"Wednesday night, a deputy noticed a farm truck and attempted to stop it," Brown said.

The suspects then drove the stolen truck to Logan and Franklin Counties. Around 9:30 p.m., authorities lost the suspects somewhere along Highway 23, authorities said.

Several different agencies were involved in the chase, including Arkansas State Police, Crawford, Logan and Franklin County Sheriff's Departments, as well as officers with Boonville, Paris and Ozark Police.

Detectives also said a checkbook reported stolen from a home in Russellville was found on the property where the truck was stolen.
