Jackknifed Semi Causes Delays On I-49 In Rogers

One person was injured in a two-vehicle wreck on I-49 in Rogers Saturday afternoon.

Around 1:30 p.m. Saturday (May 31), two vehicles were involved in an accident on I-49 near exit 85 in Rogers, according to Arkansas State Police.

Police said one vehicle hit a semi-truck, causing it to jackknife.

The accident closed southbound lanes for just over three hours, according to police.

One person was transported to Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

    Had to be effects of truck driver trying to react to being hit that caused it to Jackknife, not the little momuntum transfer that would come from a car hitting a semi.
