Leaders at the U.S. Marshals Museum being constructed in Fort Smith will decide whether to spend more than $2 million on construction and operation costs at a meeting Tuesday (June 3).
The budget meeting is slated to begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the West Room of the Riverfronts Events building, according to a press release.
If the newly-drafted budget for the Marshal’s Museum is approved, the budget will then go to the board for final approval at their next meeting, scheduled for June 10.
Leaders are expected to break ground on the U.S. Marshals Museum on September 24 to coincide with the 225th anniversary of the creation of The U.S. Marshals.
