Students have returned to class after being evacuated from the Greenwood High School on Thursday (June 5) after a bomb threat was found, according to a school official.
Police and deputies swept the school after the threat was found on a bathroom wall, the official said.
The Greenwood School District released a statement on its Facebook page on the incident.
“Greenwood High School has received a bomb threat which has caused us to evacuate our buildings. Your children have been moved to a safe location and will not re-enter the buildings until police advise us to do so. It will help us if you will not attempt to check your children out of school at this time. We will update you as we receive an all clear and students are returned to class,” the Facebook post states.
No arrests have been made at this time, officials say.
