Newlywed couple Michael and April Wolber were not expecting to have their wedding interrupted by a wildfire in Bend, Oregon.

Just as April was about to walk down the aisle, firefighters told the wedding party they had to evacuate; the fire was closing in.

The couple's parents pleaded with firefighters to let them finish the ceremony quickly; authorities did relent, allowing them to quickly tie the knot.

While the party was relocating to a backup reception in Bend's Drake Park, the wedding photographer Josh Newton was able to snap some amazing shots.
