Father And Mother Open Fire On Gunmen To Protect Daughter

A man accused of holding a gun to a teenage girl’s head in a St. Louis home robbery on June 9 is in critical condition after police said he was shot by the girl’s dad, according to affiliate station KTVI.

KTVI reported that a second man is dead after two gunmen confronted a teenage girl at night outside her home.

The gunmen ordered her to return to her home, and when the girl’s father saw the two men walking his daughter to the house, he got his gun and fired several shots at the suspects, hitting them both. The girl’s mother also fired off a shot, not hitting either suspect, according to KTVI.

The first suspect was pronounced dead at the scene, and the second suspect ran away and was later arrested at a hospital, KTVI reported.
