The amount of rain fallen in the last month has officials concerned in Central Arkansas.

In the first ten days of June the state has already reached the monthly average, according to our affiliate KTHV – Channel 11.

In 2011, the Little Rock Army Corps of Engineers had to release water from certain rivers due to dangerous water levels. If another bad wave of storms comes they could have to do that this year, according to officials.

The Army Corps of Engineers issued a small craft advisory for leisure boats along the Murray Lock and Dam; where water flow is nearly 20 percent higher due to the rain.
