A former teacher, accused of sexually molesting two children in 2009, was back in court Thursday morning (June 12).
Jason Rider is accused of fondling and molesting a teenage boy and a younger boy on multiple occasions during that year.
Rider will be back in court on Aug. 14 at 9 a.m. for his jury trial sounding docket, which will lead to his jury trial, set for Oct. 6, according to a court official.
He was a science teacher at Dahlonegah Public Schools in Stilwell, Oklahoma when the allegations surfaced. Authorities said the alleged acts occurred off of school property.
The Sequoyah County Court Clerk said he’s set to appear before Judge Jeff Peyton at 9 a.m.
