Arkansas Finishes Ninth at NCAA Championships

The University of Arkansas finished ninth at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships for both the men and women’s teams.

The University of Arkansas women’s track and field team finished ninth overall with 21.5 points and the men also tied for ninth with 20 points at the 2014 NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore.

On the final day of competition, the women picked up points Saturday from top-eight finishes at 1,500 meters, 5,000 meters and in the 4×400-meter relay. Junior Stanley Kebenei brought in a runner-up finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
