Fayetteville senior tight end C.J. O’Grady verbally committed to the University of Arkansas on Wednesday, according to a post on his twitter account.
O’Grady checks in at 6-foot-4, 230-pounds and had a breakout junior season in 2013. He caught 45 balls for 884 yards receiving and 14 touchdowns.
O’Grady had offers from Oklahoma, Texas, Oregon, Missouri and Ole Miss among many others.
He is the fourth player in the 2015 class from the 5NEWS viewing area to commit to Arkansas. Charleston quarterback Ty Storey, Northside defensive end Daytrieon Dean and Roland tight end Austin Cantrell have also verbally committed to the Hogs.
