Man Hospitalized After Car Hits Scooter

A man was hospitalized late Thursday afternoon after Springdale emergency crews received a call saying a car hit a scooter.

Local police and an ambulance responded around 5 p.m. to McRay Avenue, west of Gutensohn Road, in reference to the two-vehicle crash. Medical crews transported a 19-year-old man to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Springdale Fire Department.

The scooter crash blocked traffic during rush hour. No other injuries were reported.
