With the summer travel season upon us, many will be headed out to explore new places–and perhaps new eats. The use of the term “foodie” to describe a person who seeks new food experiences as a hobby, and one with a gourmet or refined interested in food, has grown in popularity. Livability is out with it’s list of the Top 10 Foodie Cities, and we thought we’d pass along. The list names the best places to head if you are looking for new food experiences. the study takes into account the best cities which support local farmers, showcase regional cuisine, and provide many opportunities for new flavors, textures, cooking techniques, and healthy foods.
