The trial for a woman accused of stabbing her husband over snoring issues has been pushed back one day, according to a court official.

Dawn Weiser, of Elm Springs, will appear in Washington County Circuit Court on Tuesday (June 24), a court official said.

Weiser was arrested on Aug. 29 on suspicion of attempted murder after police say she stabbed her husband with a butcher knife while he slept at the couple’s home. The victim told police the couple had been arguing about his snoring problem.

Dawn Weiser, co-owner of the home at 229 Fredonia St. where police said the stabbing occurred, was detained and questioned Thursday by investigators, before being arrested in the afternoon, according to the Elm Springs Police Department.
