19 year old’s today are just kids themselves! Their Mental Capacity is that of a 5 yr. old! Very Irresponsible! Brother was probably too busy playing his Play Station, Xbox, etc. and not paying any attention / watching his little brother! Nice job Bro! Very lucky that nothing happened to this wandering child!!!! Good this story has a happy ending!

18 and 19 year old’s fight in Afghanistan. They are not “kids themselves” and they do not have the “Mental Capacity of a 5 yr. old.” That is completely ridiculous. It’s called personal responsibility. Something our society seems to frown upon these days.

Yes 18 and 19 year old fight in the wars, after they go through training! He was NOT this child’s parent. If they both work they should find a sitter or work aposing shifts. Too often a sibling is used to raise a younger child and jow his life is rouined. The 19 yr old did not ask for this child, their parents did.Oh yea……… where were they?

That comment Is asinine without knowing any details, first, yes, the child is the parents responsibility. But if there is a 19 y o at home it would be foolish to pay additional daycare fees……but that is also an asinine statement without knowing details.

While I agree that some 19 year olds have the maturity and mentality of a 5 year old. Unfortunately for this country they are allowed to Vote. Thus making decisions and affecting the lives of others.
It’s time to hold them responsible for their decisions. Be it how their decisions affect 1 child or an entire nation. Life is not all pot, video games, and reality TV. Adulthood Has responsibilities.

It’s pathetic that the news publicizes the bad in “teenagers” but I feel as if there are more responsible 19 y/o than not. all of your comments are, in my opinion, ridiculous. I’m 18, high school graduate, and with a baby of my own, also, attending college in the fall. not all “teenagers” are irresponsible. ” it seems to me the adults in their mid-30s/40’s are the ones that are all over the media.
