A blown transformer fuse left 120 Carroll Electric customers briefly without power early Wednesday (June 25) in Centerton, according to the utility cooperative.
Electric power went out in the north and west parts of town about 7 a.m. , said Mayor Bill Edwards. The power was restored about 50 minutes later.
The mayor said some residents heard a loud popping sound around the time the power went out, implying that a transformer had blown.
