The Walmart Northwest Arkansas Championship Presented by P and G isn't just for the pros and their adult fans. Children can visit the Walmart Kid's Center and practice their swing.

This year the kid's zone more than doubled its size. It's near the 16th green at the Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers.

”It is fun and it’s very inviting.," said Carson Hunsucker, 11. "They basically let you do whatever you want to do.”

They added a put put area with hills and bends. There's a mini driving range and video games.

”See those games out there? It’s super fun," said Trey Hardcastle, 12. "I just love the mini put, there’s like a giant jenga, giant chess, giant connect four. It’s super amazing.”

There are two tents with air conditioning, one of them is a cooling station. In the other tent, team members from Unilever plan to send a message of positive self-esteem.

”We’ve got a lot to do," said Jim Breach, VP of customer service for Unilever. "There’s a lot for kids to do here."

Kids are encouraged to write positive messages on a board and take selfies that will  appear on a Facebook page. The purpose is to boost self-esteem and promote not being camera shy, according to Breach.

"The tent itself actually overlooks the 16th green, so if parents want to watch a little bit of golf while their kids are inside working with some of our team, talking about self-esteem they can do that as well," Breach said. "But it’s a great area, a great place to spend some part of Friday, Saturday and Sunday and I hope a lot of people show up.”
