The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the public’s help in identifying two male suspects involved in a stabbing that happened late Friday night.
The stabbing took place at the Dyer Bay Boat Ramp on the Arkansas River Friday (June 27) between 11 p.m. and 12 a.m., said Chief Deputy Jimmy Damante.
Two male subjects reportedly confronted a male and a female at the boat ramp asking for cigarettes, alcohol and money, Damante said. The male then got into an argument with the suspects, which led to the male being stabbed several times, Damante said.
The male is in critical condition. Authorities said he suffered a punctured liver. The name of the male victim has not yet been released.
According to authorities, the suspects’ vehicle may be a red and tan 80′s model GMC pickup truck.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department.
