The Fort Smith Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding a credit card theft suspect, according to a news release Thursday (July 3).
On June 26, a Fort Smith woman reported that an unknown person broke into her parked vehicle and stole her purse. The incident occurred in the 2000 block of South “S” Street, the release states.
Not long after the theft, she discovered numerous fraudulent purchases on her statement from the use of her credit card, according to the release.
The suspect is pictured at right, and anyone with information on the suspect is encouraged to call the Fort Smith Police Department at 479-709-5000 or the River Valley Crimestoppers Tip Line at 78-CRIME.
