Little Rock Police said that a man in an “Iron Man” mask robbed a 5 Guys Burger & Fries restaurant in the city, according to a report from affiliate station KTHV.

Officers were called to 5 Guys Burgers & Fries on Chenal Parkway on July 6 just after 10 p.m., the report states.

The man wearing the mask wielded a silver handgun and came into the restaurant through the back by holding the gun to an employee’s head and walking in, according to KTHV.

The suspect demanded money and told the manager to open the bottom of the safe where the money drops are stored. The robber then left. Officers searched the area but were unable to find the suspect, the report states.

Don’t most people pay their restaurant bill using debit/credit cards these days? 20 years ago most people paid in cash but now it seems everyone pays with the card. So does it makes sense that these robbers aren’t getting much in the way of cash these days?

Probably would make more sense to just go rob a bank where there’s plenty of cash.
