A 2-year-old boy, who is also an amputee, is inspiring many through a video of him taking his first steps that went viral, according to a report from affiliate station KFOR.
Kayden Elijah was born with Omphalocele, a birth defect where the infant’s intestine or other abdominal organs stick out of the navel, KFOR reported.
Kayden also had a band wrap around his feet and legs while he was in his mother’s womb, which lead to some deformities, according to KFOR.
In January, Elijah lost his right foot and left leg, KFOR reported.
That’d be enough to kill the spirit of any child, but the video above shows him using a walker to excitedly take his first steps.
