Oklahoma Student Expelled For Same Sex Marriage

Lesbian Student Claims She Was Expelled For Recent Marriage To Woman

College student Christian Mynard said she was expelled from her Christian  university for marrying another woman.

She said she received a letter from her school Southwestern Christian University the day after she and her wife returned from their honeymoon. Mynard said the letter read that due to recent events she would no longer be attending SCU.

“I’ve never seen anything like that before,” Mynard said, “I was utterly in shock.”

Southwestern Christian University does have a lifestyle covenant they expect students to live by. Mynard said it doesn’t matter, and her expulsion is discrimination.

“It compares gay marriage to being able to smoke a cigarette in a restaurant, and I felt like it was a very degrading letter,” She said.

SCU has not commented on the situation.

Time to file a Federal Lawsuit me thinks. Hatred and intolerance won’t be tolerated. Unless there’s a contract which she signed (I suspect there is), then she’s entitled to either furthering her education or money back. But somehow, I bet the school has a policy in fine writing that prohibits her actions after the fact. Students have a responsibility to read the fine print. Bad situation here-no winner, except the school…they’ll save some costs by expulsion.

That’s two-faced, mealy-mouthed Christianity for you. I read a story last year where a school terminated a woman for getting pregnant out of wedlock… but then hired the baby’s father No better than any swamp-dwelling white supremacist homeskooling kids in hate.

…as opposed to? How about NO religious schools AF? What part of “we’re better than you” discriminative mentality coming from the religious right do you NOT understand? If a creator exists, DO you really think it would condone one kind of human group superiority over another? Do you? It is said, according to the faithful’s book of reference and living standards, “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” So really, who wants to hurt this girl who hath elected to engage in a relationship for which you disdain? Idiot hypocritical disillusioned primitive archetypical regressive Neoliths. Your hatred and intolerance is futile. Learn to be an example of your beliefs, and perhaps you’ll be more respected by those less skeptical.

More “in your face” belligerence by the gays. She knew the rules and beliefs yet chose to go there. WHY? Quit trying to force your beliefs on everyone else. At least you can tell which one is supposed to be the boy in that picture. Strange isn’t it that one chooses to dress like a boy and one like a girl. Maybe their beliefs aren’t that strong!!!!!
Hey 5 why don’t you censor some of these other comments. Many are for sure worse than mine.

AF, you’re appear to come across as a Fascist Nazi. When the word “Censorship” is mentioned, I am afraid, very afraid. Tell me AF, feel good about yourself? Do ya? “If large numbers of people believe in freedom of speech, there will be freedom of speech, even if the law forbids it. But if public opinion is sluggish, inconvenient minorities will be persecuted, even if laws exist to protect them.” -George Orwell

Yes I feel really good about myself. Being normal is a good thing. Thank you for caring. However, you are still weird.
