Sen. Mark Pryor, D-Ark., has agreed to be part of a second televised debate, according to a news release on Thursday (July 17).

Pryor’s campaign announced that the senator had accepted a second debate with Rep. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., to be held on Oct. 14, the release states.

The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville will host the debate, and the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce will sponsor it, according to the release.

“The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce has proposed a traditional debate format, moderated by Roby Brock of Talk Business Arkansas and includes a panel of three reporters to ask questions of the candidates,” the release states.
