POTEAU (KFSM) – A house in Poteau was damaged after an early morning fire Wednesday (July 23).
Crews said the fire started inside the house, located at 608 Hardy, just before 2:30 a.m.
Poteau Fire was able to keep the fire contained inside the house while they got the flames put out, according to dispatcheres.
Authorities said the house was abandoned, and no one was inside the house when the fire started.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
