Cows On The Loose In Springdale, Police Say

SPRINGDALE (KFSM) – Police and animal control officers rounded up a few cows that got loose Friday afternoon in Springdale near Arkansas 71B, according to police.

Authorities responded to Arkansas 71B and Wagon Wheel Road after a heifer and two calves were seen roaming freely in the area. The animals were in front of the Wagon Wheel Cafe, according to the Springdale Police Department.

Police and Springdale Animal Control gathered up the animals and located the owner. Authorities said the cows got loose after slipping through a fence.

No one was injured, and there were no traffic crashes associated with the cattle.
