FORT SMITH (KFSM) – A Fort Smith man with a history of indecent exposure convictions was arrested on July 19 after police say he exposed himself at Northside High School, according to an arrest warrant.
Jerry Ross, 75, was arrested on a felony warrant on suspicion of indecent exposure. On June 23, janitors at Northside High School at 2301 N. B St. found a pole in a breezeway covered in fecal matter, the warrant states.
After reviewing surveillance video, they saw Ross walk into the breezeway, pull down his pants, sit on the pole and then “rock up and down,” according to the warrant.
Ross then got off the pole, scraped feces off and threw it on the ground. After that, he repeated everything a second time, the warrant states.
Ross was booked into the Sebastian County Detention Center and faces a charge of indecent exposure, according to the jail’s intake report.
He has been convicted four times in the past for similar behavior, on March 14, 2007, April 9, 2007, Dec. 9, 2008, and March 1, 2013. This behavior has led to him being banned from the school’s property, the warrant states.
