Benton County Sheriff’s Office Seizes Guns, Cash And Drugs In Investigation

BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) – The Benton County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Division seized drugs, cash, guns and more during an investigation on Monday (July 28), according to a news release.

Detectives served two search warrants, one at 615 Smith Ridge Turn Off in Rogers and another at 15594 Twelve Corners Rd. in Garfield, the release states.

After an instigation, five people were arrested:

  • Thomas A. Thomas, 44
  • Jerry Carnes, 60
  • Kenneth Martin, 40
  • David Jones, 43
  • Marla Darling, 42

These people were placed under arrest on suspicion of multiple drug violations, according to the release.

During the investigation, detectives recovered over 300 grams of methamphetamine with an approximate street value of $30,000, marijuana, two handguns, multiple rifles, two shotguns, digital scales, packing material, pharmaceutical pills, $4942.00 in cash and a vehicle with an approximate value of $29,000, the release states.

The investigation is still ongoing, and more arrests are likely, authorities said.

All suspects¬†were all booked into the Benton County Detention Center, and they face charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to deliver, according to the jail’s intake report.
