Springdale Police Department Arrests Suspect In Burglary Case

SPRINGDALE (KFSM) – The Springdale Police Department released security footage from the scene of a burglary on July 25 that showed a suspect in the theft case, and since then, the suspect has been arrested, authorities say.

Trenton Coney, 18, of Fayetteville was arrested after police received tips from viewers identifying him, according to officials.

Coney was arrested on Monday (July 28), and police recovered three of the four guns stolen in the burglary, officials said.

The investigation is still ongoing, and police said they will release more information on a second arrest and more recovered property at a later date.

Coney was booked into the Washington County Detention Center and faces a charge of residential burglary and theft of property, according to officials.
