Debbie…that’s just your SIN making you feel uncomfortable, not me….This is an important step for you. This is not normal, just the MEDIA trying to make you think this is alright, and it is not!…just sayin’….

it’s pretty obvious our state feels compelled to act, if only by the recent action of the fed supreme court striking down other state’s same ssex marriage bans. the 14th amendment protects against states discriminating or excluding a citizen(and non citizens) from receiving equal protection of the laws. the marriage law, a legal union between a man and woman, allows joint ventures as to own property, file joint taxes, file bankruptcy and to insure each other among many other legal benefits. by definition, marriage is the joining of two objects as one.
because of the 14th, what isn’t normal? is for an american (or state) to think their above the law and their needs supersede others. hence, congress superseded and passed hate laws with their harsh penalties as a deterrent.
if true, that for christians, that Jesus is your Lord and personal Savior? seems to me one should worry bout their own sins and not what they perceive to be the sins of others. (for 1day , they might be surprised) just my op, an not fact.

I guess some people feel like a book written 3500 years ago should still be relevant and all our laws should be based on it. Regardless if some people don’t believe the way they do. I don’t get it.
