Tempest

Tempest is a one-year-old Boxer-mix spayed female. She is brindle in color. She currently is being taken care of at the Bella Vista Animal Shelter, and is looking for a place to call home. Manager Donna Miles says Tempest is very loving and playful.

Tempest gets along well with other dogs and can handle an active playful male pup in the household. Staff members have tested her with cats and so far it has gone well. She may need a little more socialization with felines before they can officially give a stamp of approval with cats.

Caretakers say Tempest would fit right in with an active family or single person who likes to walk, run, hike, or fish. Don’t let her activity level fool you! She will be more than happy to just lounge around with her favorite person on a lazy afternoon and watch television.

If you’re interested in adopting Tempest or any other pets at Bella Vista, you’re asked to call (479)-855-6020. The shelter is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They are closed on Sundays. For more information click here.

The shelter will also be hosting a “Mutts, Music & Munchies” event (formally Barks, Blues & BBQ) on Saturday Aug. 16. It will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Blowing Springs Park in Bella Vista. The band “Who’s Jack” will be performing. Free-will donations are welcomed as our your furry friends. You’re asked to bring your own lawn chairs and blankets.
