Tyler Wilson Signs With Bengals

Wilson lands in Cincinnati just days after being cut by Titans

It didn’t take long for Tyler Wilson to find a new NFL home.

Just two days after being cut by the Tennessee Titans, the former Greenwood and Arkansas quarterback signed with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Wilson was added to the Bengals roster a day after backup quarterback Jason Campbell struggled and was injured in the preseason opener against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson was a fourth round draft pick of the Raiders in 2013, then completed 11-of-18 passes for 93 yards for Oakland in the preseason. The Titans signed Wilson from the Raiders practice squad on Dec. 17 but did not dress in the final two games last season for Tennessee.

Cincinnati currently has five quarterbacks on the roster. Starter Andy Dalton signed a more than $100 million extension prior to training camp while Campbell, rookie A.J. McCarron and second year Matt Scott are also listed on the team’s roster.
