RUSSELLVILLE (KFSM) – The Russellville Police Department arrested a suspect on Aug. 9 on suspicion of shooting a man in the leg, according to a post on their Facebook page.

Quwillien Porter, 19, was found and arrested two days after police responded to a call of a shooting on Aug. 7 in the 1200 block of North Cleveland Avenue, the post states.

When police arrived on Aug. 7 at approximately 3:32 a.m., they found an injured man with a gunshot wound to the leg, according to the post.

The victim was transported to Saint Mary’s Regional hospital in stable condition, the post states.

Porter was not there when police arrived, but they labeled him as a suspect and considered him “armed and dangerous.” The Russellville Police Department announced a $250 reward leading to the capture of Porter, according to the post.

Russellville police arrested Porter on Aug. 9 on suspicion of first degree battery and residential burglary, the post states.

He had his bond hearing on Monday (Aug. 11), and his bond was set at $750,000 officials said.
